I was set to go with Albert Enayati tomorrow for the Government reform hearings but couldn't make it. Our family is in living hell with our 17 year-old son, Eric who is 6 feet tall, 150 pounds. He attacked Helen, Julie, my daughter (14) and myself. He head butted Julie and bit my wife on the head. Eric bit one of my fingers. It isn't the first time and is getting worse. Republican Gov. Rick Perry signed an order making Texas the first state to require that schoolgirls get vaccinated against the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer. Merck is bankrolling efforts to pass state laws across the country mandating Gardasil for girls as young as 11 or 12. It doubled its lobbying budget in Texas and has funneled money through Women in Government, an advocacy group made up of female state legislators around the country. Perry has several ties to Merck and Women in Government. One of the drug company's three lobbyists in Texas is Mike Toomey, Perry's former chief of staff. His current chief of staff's mother-in-law, Texas Republican state Rep. Dianne White Delisi, is a state director for Women in Government. Despite the bad publicity regarding Merck's deadly Vioxx painkiller which allegedly causes heart attacks, claimed in 13,000 lawsuits against Merck, the FDA has approved Merck's Gardasil vaccine, which allegedly prevents cervical cancer, adding it to a list of recommended shots for girls ages 11 and 12.
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices has also advised the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that girls as young as 9 years old be vaccinated.
Like previous FDA frauds, the intent is to eventually make the vaccine mandatory reaping the greatest revenue for Merck from government mandated regulations.
The FDA's rationale is that Gardasil is most effective for young girls before they become sexually active.That expands the market even more.
The question remains --how much did Merck pay the FDA officials who approved the vaccine? Or were they just promised an executive position once they leave the stately halls of government?
And what compensation did Merck give to the Committee members who made the "recommendation"?

15. The Maryland Senator who introduced a bill that would make the HPV shot from Merck mandatory for girls and women in Maryland abruptly withdrew the bill the day after an Associated Press article revealed that Merck has a nation-wide lobbying campaign to get state legislatures to make the Merck product mandatory.
Many of the bills introduced so far to make the shot mandatory have been introduced by members of a bi-partisan women's state legislators' group called Women In Government.
